January’s Well-being Programs Schedule
How can it already be the end of the year—and at the same time, the start of a brand-new one? Time seems to fly, and we’re so grateful to have you alongside us as we continue supporting well-being across VCU. Thank you for all you do to support well-being in your departments—we truly couldn’t do this work without you.
Attached and below is the January Well-Being Programs schedule, which includes a variety of sessions across multiple dimensions of well-being. We hope you’ll share these opportunities with your colleagues and encourage them to participate.
January Highlights
- A mix of physical, emotional, financial, and social well-being sessions
- Three nutrition-focused sessions in January, offering practical tips to support healthy habits and realistic goals for the new year
- Programs designed to help employees ease back into routines after the holidays
Additional Resources & Reminders
- The Fall Resources Sheet can be found here and remains a helpful collection of well-being, mental health, financial, and support resources. Please feel free to share this broadly with your teams.
- A reminder that the CVC campaign is ending soon. If colleagues are interested in participating, now is a great time to encourage them to take action before the deadline. You can see on the DHRM CVC website that VCU is one of the Top 10 Agencies for donations! Way to go Rams!
Ongoing Reminders
- Please continue sharing well-being resources broadly—this helps ensure employees can explore support privately and at their own pace.
- RamStrong remains a great starting point for well-being tools, including EAP, TimelyCare, and other resources tailored to individual benefits coverage.
- If you’re aware of department meetings, newsletters, or bulletin boards where these programs could be shared, we’d love your help spreading the word.
As always, if you have feedback, ideas, or resources you’d like us to consider—or if your department would benefit from a specific topic—please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you again for being such thoughtful champions of well-being. Wishing you a healthy and happy 2026!
