Medicare Overview and State Retiree Health Coverage

(Presented by VCU HR and Social Security Administration)

Join this workshop from Social Security and learn answers to questions about Medicare A and B. Eligibility requirements, Enrollment periods, application process and online services will be addressed. VCU Benefits will also present on the State Retiree Health Coverage.

CPR Awareness Virtual Event

(Presented by VCU HR and American Heart Association)

Join the AHA and VCU Health’s Michelle Gossip, RN, for an awareness activity that could help save a life – maybe even one of your loved ones! By learning about Hands-Only CPR you can become part of our army of lifesavers ready and willing to act in an emergency. This presentation is an awareness activity only. Additional information will be provided on becoming CPR certified.

The Importance of Lifelong Learning

Lifelong learning is the use of formal and informal learning opportunities throughout life for personal fulfillment. Join Rachel Ramirez from the Lifelong Learning Institute in Chesterfield (LLI) to learn about the benefits of lifelong learning, why it’s important, how it combats social isolation, and how so many are navigating their lifelong learning journeys with LLI.
