A slower 30-minute practice focused on active stretching of muscles and opening of connective tissue. Release built up tension, prevent injury, increase blood flow to muscles, and increase long-term flexibility. No equipment requirements, though a yoga mat is recommended.

Staying hydrated is so important, not only in the summer but the cooler months as well. We will talk about why we need to keep drinking water and how to notice signs of heat exhaustion and other heat related illnesses. We will also discuss foods that help with hydration and which ones to avoid.
