Part of health and wellness is how we talk and treat ourselves. Our emotional and mental health is just as important as our physical health.

If you’re not using positive words self while talking to yourself or describe your self then you’re speaking negativity into your life.

5 tips to bring positive change into your life.

  • Practice Self-awareness, pay attention to how you talk to yourself and how you describe yourself. These are all negative phrases:
    • I’m not good enough
    • I can’t do that
    • I have bad luck
    • I’m not smart enough
    • I never win
    • I only attract losers
    • I never have any money
    • I could not handle that

Replace the negative phrases with positive ones.

  • Practice Daily Affirmation or use I AM statements, which are positive phrases repeated to ourselves daily to help our minds shift to a ore hopeful and positive way of thinking.
    • I am strong
    • I am worthy
    • I am smart
    • I attract love
    • I am a money magnet
    • I am loved
    • I am capable
    • I am kind
    • I am beautiful
    • I attract opportunities
    • I am more than enough
    • I can handle that
    • I can do hard things
    • i can and will achieve my goals
  • Celebrate your wins
    • No matter how small the win, celebrate and tell somebody about it. Or post about it in a group or on your social media. Practice self-care and reward yourself.
  • Give yourself Grace
    • Rome was not built in a day! Stop putting so much pressure on yourself to be perfect
    • Stop comparing yourself to other people and what they have achieved
  • Adopt an attitude of gratitude
    • Be grateful for everything that you have. There are others who have less.
    • Make a list of thing that you’re thankful for. Even if it’s waking up today, that you have a roof over your head, and food to eat.
    • Show gratitude by helping other people without expecting anything in return.
