This 30-minute routine will feature non-traditional cardio and core exercises provided in an interval format. Be prepared for fast moving, challenging exercises all while having some fun!

Money Mondays with Bill

Topic: Understanding the Basics of Social Security

(Presented by VCU HR and Fidelity)

Social Security may be an important income source for retirement. Learn about key Social Security claiming ages and how your benefit is calculated, so you can better understand the choices.

Moving with the Rams – Everything you need to know about buying or selling a home in the RVA Housing Market

(Presented by VCU HR and Long & Foster)

In-person (School of Pharmacy Building, MCV Campus) and Virtual

Topics will include the RVA Housing Market Update, preparing to buy or sell a home, marketing your home, the process from contract to close, financing and the rewards of the VCU “Moving with the Ram” discount program. Lunch will be provided to those who register for the in-person session by 4/10.

Kickboxing Circuits

(Presented by VCU HR and VCU Recreation & Well-Being)

This full-body circuit training takes the basics of martial arts and adds the fun of circuits. You’ll be punching and kicking your way through 30 minutes of strength and cardio exercises. At the end of it all, you’ll walk away ready to tackle the day!

Health and Well-being in the Workplace

(Presented by VCU HR and Anthem EAP)

Discover how to enhance your health, well-being, and productivity by relieving stress with simple relaxation techniques. Explore ergonomics and learn how to avoid on-the-job injuries from lifting, repetitive stress (such as carpal tunnel syndrome), and computer-related injuries (headache, eyestrain, and back pain). The discussion will include how to achieve work-life balance, establish priorities, eat healthy, and exercise regularly.
