2022 Career Development Conference

“Together Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M.)” Career Development Conference. 

VCU Human Resources and the VCU Staff Senate are excited to sponsor the Career Development Conference that will take place Monday, March 7 – Friday, March 11, 2022.  The theme is “Together Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M.)”, which highlights the core values that each member of the VCU community strived for throughout this pandemic, such as integrity, excellence, collaboration and innovation.  It is important now more than ever to work toward goals of supporting our students, patients and employees and share the value of collaborating with colleagues and growing individually and collectively.  The conference is designed to provide learning opportunities that will allow us to rediscover what keeps us energized in the workplace as engaged, lifelong learners.

The 2022 conference will be offered as a career development event that offers participants the opportunity to explore a variety of educational topics while networking with peers. The conference will be fully virtual for all sessions. Conference sessions will be a series of development activities designed to meet the needs of staff and their professional development goals. The event is free to all VCU and VCU Health System employees.

Employee Appreciation Week:

• Donuts & Refreshments from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on two dates: Mon. 3/7 (MPC – Student Commons) and Tues. 3/8 (MCV – Hunton Student Center). 
• Virtual Wellness Wednesday Programs: Guided Meditation, Resilience and Chair Yoga
• Food Truck Friday on 3/11 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Student Commons Plaza (MPC)

Participation in any employee appreciation week activities must be done at your own risk. Employees must follow all VCU COVID-19 policies and protocols as enforced by the university. The use of face masks and social distancing will be enforced for each event.
