Slow Flow Yoga with Hannah

(Presented by VCU HR and VCU Recreational Sports)

In this Slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a regular Flow class. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind.

Deep Stretch with Jess

(Presented by VCU HR and VCU Recreational Sports)

A slower 30-minute practice focused on active stretching of muscles and opening of connective tissue. Release built up tension, prevent injury, increase blood flow to muscles, and increase long-term flexibility.

Vinyasa Yoga with Casey

(Presented by VCU HR and VCU Recreational Sports)

Move through a variety of yoga poses in a balanced and systemic way connecting the breath with movement. This class will improve body awareness, mental focus, muscular tension, range of motion at the joints, and an overall sensation of a more balanced life.

High Intensity Interval Training with Rachel

(Presented by VCU HR and VCU Recreational Sports)

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a training technique in which you give all-out, quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. Workouts are scalable to any fitness level with a focus on cardio and muscular strength/endurance.
