Funny Friday and….Summer Pickleball League!
Our RecWell Intramurals Program is offering a Summer Pickleball League for VCU Faculty/Staff on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 3-5pm from June 4-July 25 (cost is $10 per person). You are not required to participate in every session. Participants who play 2 games during the first 5 weeks are eligible to take part in optional playoffs which begin July 9. Register by July 2 to be eligible to participate in playoffs. Equipment is provided or you can bring your own. You can also register solo or with a buddy.
If you have never played Pickleball before and have been telling yourself you want to learn, this is a great opportunity- We will have an optional instructional session on June 3 on Basketball Court 1 in Cary St. Gym at 3:00pm. This instructional session is open for anyone, regardless of if you have registered for the league or not! Unlike many of our RecWell programs, you also don’t have to be a RecWell member to participate in the league this summer.
To register for the league, visit our RecWell portal and use the Sign In button in the top right to login with your VCU credentials. This should direct you to the registration page. If not, and you are redirected to the Homepage, click on menu button in the top left (three horizontal bars), click Programs, Click the Intramural tab in Classifications, and the Pickleball League should show up.
