Chair Yoga
(Presented by VCU HR and VCU Recreation & Well-Being)
A gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. This is a perfect class for those who may have limited mobility or joint range of motion.

Health and Well-being in the Workplace
(Presented by VCU HR and Anthem EAP)
Discover how to enhance your health, well-being and productivity by relieving stress with simple relaxation techniques. Explore ergonomics and learn how to prevent on-the-job injuries from lifting, repetitive stress (such as carpal tunnel syndrome) and computer-related injuries (headache, eyestrain and back pain). The discussion will include work-life balance, how to establish priorities, and the importance of healthy eating and regular exercise.

Join Fidelity to understand how Social Security fits into your overall retirement income plan, when to start claiming your benefit, and how it contributes to your overall retirement paycheck. Your will learn how Social Security fits your retirement paycheck, identify Social Security claiming strategies, and create your retirement income plan.

Flex and Power

This 30-minute virtual session will feature a variety of strengthening exercises using your own body! This session is designed to provide you with a total body workout hitting every muscle group as you build muscular strength and endurance!

Kickboxing
(Presented by VCU HR and VCU Recreation & Well-Being)
This full-body circuit training takes the basic martial arts and adds the fun. You’ll be punching and kicking your way through 30-minutes of strength and cardio. At the end of it you’ll walk away ready to tackle the day.

Sound Bath Meditation
(Presented by VCU HR)
In-Person Session – Location: Monroe Park (meet by the fountain)
A Sound Bath is a form of meditation that guides you into a deep relaxation state while enveloped in ambient sound. Waves of soothing, echoing sound from crystal bowls, gong and various instruments assist the mind-body with stress and fatigue. This is an in-person session. Bring a mat or a blanket with you if you have one. Weather permitting.
