Giving VCU employees the wellness resources they need to be healthy both on and off campus

Since 1997, the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) has been the officially sanctioned, non-profit fundraising program for over 120,000 Commonwealth employees to safely and easily donate to their favorite causes throughout the year.

The campaign is now open to both Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and VCU Health System employees.

The Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) is the annual charity drive for employees of the Commonwealth of Virginia. VCU’s annual campaign dates are October 1 through December 17, 2021.

Why give to the CVC?

  • All charities participating in the CVC have been pre-screened to ensure that they are fiscally sound and that they perform the services stated.
  • Payroll deduction allows you to budget your contribution throughout the year through regular automated giving. Payroll deductions made during the 2021 campaign will begin in January 2022 and end December of 2022.
  • The CVC operates for and by state employees under the Executive Order of the Governor.
  • There are many opportunities to give. The CVC accepts credit card or payroll deduction.
