Intro to Mat Pilates
VCU Recreational Sports is offering an Intro to Mat Pilates group exercise class. The class will run every Monday and Wednesday from 7 am to 8 am starting on Monday March 25 and ending on Wednesday May 1.
Mat Pilates is a practice of developing core strength, functional movements and connection of the mind and body through breath. In this 6-week course, you’ll increase your full-body strength, by first developing a supportive core. With consistent attendance, you can expect to see a progressive increase in strength, stability and mobility. If you’re newer to exercise, looking to get back to the basics, or hoping to develop functional strength, this course is for you!
