Take the Brain Health Challenge
The goal of the new Women Against Alzheimer’s Be Brain Powerful campaign is to raise awareness and empower women with knowledge about their brains. To get involved, visit bebrainpowerful.org and take the 30-day Brain Health Challenge. Every day fora month, you’ll receive a new top on how to protect your brain.
3 Brain-Health Moves
- Get your heart going: Do 150 minutes a week of moderately intense aerobic exercise, divvied up any way you’d like
- Challenge your brain: Socialize, study a language, play Scrabble on your phone, teach yourself to cook something new. Enroll in a work/life session at VCU. Check out the event calendar here.
- Eat smarter: Fill your diet with antioxidant-rich berries, leafy greens, fish, and whole grains – and cut way down on saturated and trans fats.
