Description: Happy Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week! Come out and relax at the Diamond and cheer on the Rams as they take on the Cornell Big Red’s all weekend long. The first 25 VCU Faculty & Staff members to arrive will receive FREE tickets to the game for up to four people. After, tickets are $5.00 per VCU Faculty & Staff members. Deal is for walk-up tickets only and extends to immediate family members in attendance.We hope to see you out at the Diamond! Promotion is valid for Games on – 3/10 @ 3pm, 3/11 @ 2pm, and 3/12 @ 1pm.

F.A.S.T. (Faculty & Staff Training) Session 2 is an open environment where certified trainers will take you through the foundations of resistance training. This program is only open to VCU faculty, staff, and spouses of either of these groups that have RecWell Memberships. Classes are designed with the faculty/staff demographic in mind. Eligibility
Currently employed Faculty and Staff of VCU and VCU Health System are eligible to purchase a Recreation and Well-Being membership at the Faculty/Staff rate. Faculty & Staff designations are granted by VCU and VCU Health departments of Human Resources. Potential members may be asked to provide VCU Identification during the sales process to confirm eligibility. Note: faculty or staff who utilize University tuition waivers do not receive complimentary access to RecWell facilities or programs.
Access
All memberships include access to our Cary Street Gym facility (101 South Linden Street) in addition to our MCV Campus Rec Center (900 Turpin Street). Both facilities have a wide range of free weights, weight machines, cardio machines, courts, and a pool. Membership also includes access to our free Group Exercise classes along with member-discounted rates on many of our programs.
Payment Types
VCU RecWell accepts all major credit cards along with checks and money orders made out to “VCU Recwell”. We do not accept cash, Apple Pay, mobile, or ePayments of any kind.
Monthly Billing: members who would like to spread the cost of their membership out over the course of the year may purchase a monthly billing membership. The minimum term for a monthly billing membership is one year (i.e., twelve billing cycles) from the start of membership. Requests for cancellation made before twelve total billing cycles have been completed will not be honored. Monthly billing will occur on the first day of every month and will continue in perpetuity unless a cancellation request is submitted.
Term Memberships: members who would like to pay their membership upfront may do so in single-week, single-month, three-month, six-month, or yearly term increments. Members who choose to purchase a term membership package are not eligible for an early cancellation refund of any kind regardless of circumstance.
Rates
30-Day Free Trial
Faculty & Staff who have never held an active membership (excluding Student Import membership) are eligible for a 30-Day faculty/staff trial pass. This trial does not apply to their dependents. Each faculty and staff member may utilize exactly one 30-day trial pass. If a faculty and staff member leaves the University and returns after any amount of time, they will not be given an additional 30-day trial pass. Members are responsible for programs purchased during their trial period that extend beyond the initial 30 days; refunds will not be given for the remaining programs should the member decide not to continue membership past the 30 days of the trial membership. This trial does not provide access to our Intramural and Sport Club programming, only paying members are eligible to participate in those programs.

Full membership includes full access to RecWell facilities and programs during all open hours.

RamExpress Membership
RamExpress Membership is a discounted rate for non-student members who wish to purchase restricted access to our facilities between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m Mondays through Fridays and all day on Saturday and Sunday at a discount of 30% from their standard membership category rate.
The RamExpress time restriction also applies to our group exercise programs, fitness programs, and OAP programs. If you hold a RamExpress membership you would not be able to take part in programs that occur beyond your RamExpress access-time eligibility.

Payroll Deduction
RecWell payroll deduction is offered only to full-time VCU employees who are paid from the University payroll department. The VCU Health System payroll department does not provide payroll deduction. Hourly employees are not eligible for payroll deduction.

Additional Adults
Recreation and Well-Being student members may sponsor one additional person over the age of 18 from their household as an Additional Adult member for a fee. Qualifying adults include a roommate with proof of residency or one adult family member in the same household (spouse, partner) over the age of 18. Sponsors will be required to show either:
- Proof of residency (includes, but is not limited to, utility bills, credit card statements, checking account statements, checks, etc)
- Proof of dependency (includes, but is not limited to, adoption certificates, health care insurance information, or tax returns)
The sponsoring member can pay monthly through automatic recurring credit card charges or annual lump sum payments. Note: the costs below are in addition to the core member pricing. If a Faculty or Staff member purchases one year term memberships for themselves and an additional adult the cost would be $306 plus $408 for a total of $714.
