VCU Update, Scam (2/1/2019)
The following is a scam email which the scammer has compromised another VCU account and is using it to send out emails to others inside the university.
The scam email has a VCU logo in the header to try to appear more legitimate. The email states that the victim needs to update their information otherwise their email would be deactivated. This is a scam because the email address is not a service account – it is another hacked individual at the university.
If you have received this email please delete it.
