Warning a URL in the VCU Daily News Clip Letter contains malware Feb 3, 2023
February 3, 2023 an email potentially containing links with malware was sent from vcunews@vcu.edu the VCU Daily News Clips, which includes links to blog posts from VCU organizations. We believe one of these links contains a malware virus and are advising to not click the links of the email. Below is a screenshot of said email.
This can happen if the website or url is compromised or the website could, in the background, contain compromised ads that contain malware.
Proceed with caution and please report to infosec@vcu.edu if you have clicked these links or suspect you have been compromised.
