Account deactivation scam (7/3/2019)
The following scam attempts to trick you into clicking on a malicious link, which will subsequently attempt to steal your personal information. Notice the email addressing the victim by their email address, hidden link, sense of urgency, all of which are tell tale signs of a scam. Please delete this message if you received it.

Your university account has been filed under the list of accounts set for deactivation due to retirement/graduation of the concerned account holder but record shows you are still active in service and so advised to terminate this request otherwise give us reasons to deactivate your university account.
1. I’m still active in the university:
Visit here to cancel this deactivation request. (Malicious link removed)
2. I’m set for retirement/graduation:
No action is required (request will be processed).
Note: Accounts filed for deactivation has been submitted and will be processed within 24hr.
