Phishing Scams and Schemes Unveiled

Scammers often try many methods to trick users. This scammer is trying to have an administrator change the bank account of another employee.  I recognized the following call-signs of a phishing attempt:

  • Urgency – Subject Line!
  • Odd Grammar
  • Non-VCU Email – “dlx@countermail.com”
