VCU Libraries is hosting a trial of Medici.tv, an online platform for streaming classical music videos through March 17.

Medici.tv features a library of over 2,000 programs (3,000 original works), including:

  • concerts and archived historical concerts
  • operas
  • ballets
  • documentaries, artist portraits, and educational programs
  • masterclasses

In addition to the streaming collection, more than 150 live events are broadcast each year, in partnership with international opera houses, festivals, and competitions such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, London Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, Bolshoi Theater, and the Salzburg Festival.

The VCU community will have access to Medici.tv from through March 17, 2021.
