As a means of supporting university leaders, VCU HR offers two core courses that focus on strengthening leadership competencies that align with VCU’s values.

  • Leading Change is an internally developed course that delivers the knowledge, skills and tools to implement successful change initiatives. Leaders will also discover their personal style related to change management.
  • Crucial Conversations is a nationally recognized, highly interactive course on how to communicate high-stakes, emotional, or risky information at all levels of an organization.
