Instant HR: Timekeeping changes due to inclement weather
Dear Timekeepers:
The following is information to help you process timekeeping for your department in regards to yesterday’s widespread tornado warning that affected the university community as well as many areas around central Virginia.
Non-exempt employees who remained at work during the tornado warning time period on Monday, September 17 should be compensated for their time. Managers also have the option to offer a flexible work schedule to non-exempt employees for the remainder of this week.
