Notification to employees in grant-funded positions
Certain funding sources, for example grant funds, have implications for employee state benefits. To help ensure employees in grant-funded positions are aware of their employment status and to avoid any potential confusion, departments are strongly encouraged to notify these employees in a timely manner of the funding source that supports their position. Please see the templates below to help in notifying these employees.
- Use the first template to send notification Include that positions are grant funded and employment is subject to the continuation of funds.
- Use the second template to notify employees in grant-funded positions immediately upon changes to the funding source.

TEMPLATE: Annual notification of grant-funding source
