Tech Tuesday – June 27: Roles in Google Shared Drives and Manually Collecting Consent Forms in axiUm
TechTuesday
A weekly tip email from your neighborhood Instructional Technology and eHR team.
Tip #1 – Last week we talked about the advantages of a Shared Drives. While almost everything is the same as a personal Google Drive, there are a few differences. One difference is the different roles. Below is a table that highlights the different roles. In Shared Drives, you must elect Managers that can add more members of the Shared Drive, while designating some as just Content Manager or Contributor. The Commenter and Viewer roles are identical to the ones in personal Drives.

Tip #2 – Consent must be collected before administering any treatment! Most of the time, you will be able to Treatment Plan in axiUm which automatically enforces the collection of that consent. Any treatment with the red-dot-white-dash icon has NOT had consent collected (most likely it was Chart Added).

To manually collect consent for these treatments, do the following:
In Tx History, select the clipboard with a similar circle-dash icon> Add Patient Consent

In the box that pops up, select the “…” box to bring up a list of consent forms to have the patient sign>find the appropriate one for the treatment you are administering>double-click and sign away!
