Tech Tuesday – June 13: Instructional Tech Help line and Changing the Recipient in Running Man
TechTuesday
A weekly tip email from your neighborhood Instructional Technology and eHR team.
Tip #1 – You may have heard the following quote:
“To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, to be late is to be forgotten.”
Here it is again, edited for VCU SoD:
“To be early is wise so you can troubleshoot technology, to be on time is just tempting the universe to make the technology NOT work like you thought it would, to be late is to guarantee losing the first half of your presentation time to entering passwords and getting the classroom technology ready.”
All of that to say…
Tip #2 – Running Man is a tool in axiUm that messages a user or group of users notifying them to look at a Form specific to a patient. To bring up this tool, click this icon:
When the Running Man box pops up, it is very important that you change the default recipient, because it will default to you, and you don’t want to send a message to yourself, do you?
Click the ellipses box to add a user or group of users.
Now, if you saw this and really just want to know how to do the Running Man dance, here you go.
