Tech Tuesday – November 9: Pre-defined Reports in Info Manager and Importing Select Content in Canvas Courses
TechTuesWednesday
A weekly tip email from your neighborhood Instructional Technology and eHR team.
Tip #1 – Last Tech Tuesday, we mentioned that “Pre-defined” button in Info Manager. ![]()
What is it exactly? It’s a gold mine; that’s what it is! Of data!
Many reports have been created over the years, which means, most likely, there’s already a report for what you need. Click “Pre-defined” to see reports you’ve made and reports made by others that have been made accessible to you. Click the report you want to explore. You can edit it, copy it, or just double-click it to activate in the main Info Manager window. Happy reporting!

Tip #2 – Spring 2023 is almost here. You are probably curating those Canvas courses in preparation. You can copy an entire course; we’ve discussed that in previous Tech Tuesdays. Sometimes, you may just want to copy forward one item from a previous course.
In Modules, click the 3 dots on the far right of an item you want to copy>Copy To…

A sidebar will appear. Start typing the name of the course you want to copy it to. Select it and click Copy. You even have the option of specifying what module it copies to.
