The page you’re used to seeing when you log in to many VCU websites is about to change. On Tuesday, January 25, Technology Services will unveil the newly redesigned VCU Central Authentication Service. It was redesigned to better match the overall VCU look and feel. As an added benefit, this new version should be much easier to use on mobile devices.

We are releasing screenshots ahead of time so you’ll be prepared for the change. We advise people to be cautious when logging into suspicious sites that ask for a VCU eID and password. The VCU Central Authentication Service site is the primary method of logging into many major VCU applications, including the myVCU Portal, myVCUmail for Students, and many other applications. As always, please verify that the URL for the VCU Central Authentication Service website begins with https://login.vcu.edu/ before entering your VCU eID and password; if it does not, please report the website to the Technology Services helpIT Center – their phone number is (804) 828-2227 or you can email help@vcu.edu.

See the screenshots below to familiarize yourself with the new design. Note that the design of the page for most mobile devices is quite different.
