VCU Libraries has licensed access to Science of Synthesis (SOS) by Thieme. It is a collection of curated, evaluated organic synthetic methods, available as an e-book series and searchable database. SOS provides critical reviews of synthetic methodology in organic and organometallic chemistry, organized systematically and logically by main functional groups. It provides an overview of an area, which is a great starting point for exploring trusted synthetic pathways or seeking inspiration.
