Tech Tuesday – February 27: Changes to DUO 2-factor-authentication

Tip #1 – At VCU, we utilize DUO 2-factor-authentication to confirm identity when signing into VCU platforms offsite. Historically, in this process a user signing into a VCU platform would get prompted on their personal device via the DUO app. A few minor changes are coming to this process. More details with screenshots are coming here.
To summarize, the process will essentially reverse. When signing into a VCU application offsite, you will see a number displayed that then gets entered into your DUO app as seen below.
