TechTuesday

A weekly tip email from your neighborhood Instructional Technology and eHR team.

Tip #1 –

We love rhymes in our department and I couldn’t settle on one so here are a few:

“Shared Drives make for happier lives!”

“Share Drives will help you thrive!”

“Using Shared Drives as a team makes collaborating a dream!”

Past Tech Tuesdays have discussed the advantages of using Shared Drives as a team. The main selling point is that it makes collaboration and storage of a department’s content very easy and convenient. Content in a Shared Drive is owned by the team, not the individual, which keeps it safe regardless of personnel changes and eliminates the need to continually share documents with other team members. If it’s in the Shared Drive, it’s already available to other members.

We highly recommend that departments set up a Shared Drive. If you are ready to do so, email [email protected] or submit a ticket

Tip #2 – If you need to view or edit a student evaluation that was collected in axiUm, follow the steps below.

1 – Click Evaluations

2 – Enter the student’s provider number

3 – Optional – If you were the instructor that originally entered the evaluation, you can leave your name here. If you were not, then click the “X” button to clear so you can search for evaluations entered by anyone.

4 – Enter a date range or specific date if known.

5 – Click Search

The results will show below. From there, you can highlight one evaluation and choose one of the actions above: Print, Edit, Delete, or View. More on these actions next week.
