Tech Tuesday – May 24: Viewing Patients in AxiUm and Analytics in Echo360
TechTuesday
A weekly tip from your neighborhood Instructional Technology and eHR team.
Tip #1 – A new version of axiUm is here, so let’s review some of the basics that may look a bit different. Rolodex has been replaced with Patients! This is just a visual change, so a user can still do all the things done previously in Rolodex, primarily searching for patients. From there, a single-click activates the patient; a double-click adds them to that user’s quick-list on the right.

Activating a patient populates their name along the bottom banner in axiUm. Clicking on that name brings up the…..

Patient Card! This displays a list of the patient’s previous appointments and basic demographic information.

Tip #2 – We continue our Echo360 focus this week with a look at Analytics. Many faculty want to see data on their student’s Echo360 usage. Log into Echo360.org>Courses>select your course>click ANALYTICS in the top right of the screen to get to that rich data!

You will see a big chart showing view count and other relatable data for each of your recordings. Hovering over any one of those bars in the chart will reveal more data about that specific recording.

In this example, we can see that D2 students couldn’t get enough of the Biomechanics II lecture in ORTH 623. (Way to go, Dr. Lindauer!)
