Tech Tuesday – April 12: Student Rotation Reports and Adding a Zoom Link to a Google Calendar Event
TechTuesday
A weekly tip from your neighborhood Instructional Technology and eHR team.
Tip #1 – Who doesn’t love a good report?! I know I do! We can all run some pretty useful reports in axiUm, like a rotation report, which has been requested by many lately. This report identifies what students are in each rotation location. All reports start with Info Manager. Click Info Manager>Custom Reports>Rotation Schedule>Student Rotation Listing>enter your parameters and click Ok.

You will get a report of all students attending each rotation based on your date parameters. Happy Reporting!

Tip #2 – You’ve created a Zoom link…now what?! You have a few options.(If you still need help with creating a Zoom link, here is last week’s tip). After creation, you will see a Zoom link. From there you can highlight and copy that url so you can send it in an email or post it on a site, like your Canvas course. If you want to get fancy, you can include it in your Google Calendar events. When creating a Google calendar event, paste the Zoom url in the description. Add your invite guests like you can do with any Calendar invite and they will also see your Zoom link. Alternatively, you can use the “Add to – Google Calendar” button shown right after you create a Zoom meeting. This will launch you into your Google Calendar with all of the Zoom information already included.
