Stroll Virtually Through Our Stacks
While our doors are closed there are still ways for the public to enjoy some of what VCU Libraries has to offer. Do you miss strolling the stacks of the library and seeing what else is on the shelf next to the book that you are looking for? If so, check out the “Virtual Browse” tool and get some good ideas of what to read next. You will find Virtual Browse tool at the bottom of the book citation in our catalog. Stroll through the stacks by clicking the arrows to each side of the panel and watch the world unfold. While we are not currently lending books, you may be able to access the book digitally through the Hathi Trust.
While so many of us are spending much more time at home, reading is surging as a way to help pass the time. Virtual Browse is another option to help fill out your reading list when you have perhaps exhausted other options.
