Great Place: HR Redesign next steps
Dear Colleagues:
Congratulations on your enrollment in the Great Place: HR Redesign and on taking an important step in your career development at VCU. You are joining more than 2,000 VCU employees in a new HR plan designed to reward growth and learning, align our everyday work with the strategic mission of the university, modernize how we recruit and retain talent, and preserve what we appreciate most about state employment.
You will transition from a Classified employee to a University and Academic Professional, VCU’s new employee group, on July 1, 2018. You can continue to access your job assignment and a side-by-side comparison of the Classified HR plan and the new HR plan by logging into my.vcu.edu and clicking HR Redesign under General Resources. As we get closer to July 1, we will communicate details of the transition including information about the transfer of leave and reminders about important new benefits. There is no action required on your part.
