Annual Banner Recertification

Dear HR Colleagues:
Competency/knowledge testing is required annually for all authorized Banner users. This testing ensures users understand their responsibilities and basic procedures when keying or utilizing data in Banner. Anyone with PA access to Banner is required to successfully complete this online test by March 30, 2018 with a minimum score of 90%.
Please make every effort to successfully complete this test by the deadline to ensure your continued PA access in Banner. Users may take the test up to three times. Upon three unsuccessful attempts, VCU Human Resources will contact you to discuss your options for continued access.
- Visit https://blackboard.vcu.edu/webapps/login/?action=relogin.
- Type in your Username and Password.
- On the right-hand side, you will see a box that says “My Courses.” Look under “Courses in which you are enrolled” for “Recertification for Personnel Administrators.”
- Click on the course title to access the Personnel Administrator course.
