Tech Tuesday – August 30: eRx Medication History and Closed Captions for Google Slides

Tip #1 – If you have a new patient, it can take a long time to enter medications they are already taking. Let eRx do it for you. With a patient active and eRx open, click “Show Medication History.” Any medications administered from other pharmacies will appear.
Check the box next to the medications you want to import and click “+ Add to Active Medications.”
Tip #2 – Close captions are not just a feature on your TV anymore! If you are a Google Slides user, you can utilize live captions! In Presentation mode, hover in the bottom left to see the menu, where you can enable live captions.
