Get Help

If you’re having trouble with Zoom, there are numerous options for getting help:

Open a Zoom Support Chat Session

When you’re logged into the VCU Zoom portal at vcu.zoom.us, there will be a blue “word balloon” icon at the lower left of every page to connect you with the Zoom Support chatbot. This can provide you with answers to many of the most commonly encountered issues with Zoom. If your question isn’t among those covered, type “Representative” into the text box to be connected with a live support technician.

If prompted for your account name, enter your entire “@vcu.edu” address. If prompted for your “Host Key,” you can find it on your account page, under the “Profile” tab. Your host key is normally hidden, but you can reveal by clicking on the “closed eye” symbol.

This help option is available to you 24/7 as a VCU Zoom account member.

Enter A Support Ticket with VCU Technology Services

Visit itsupport.vcu.edu and create a ticket under “Collaboration and Communication > Web Conferencing > Zoom”. Your issue will be addressed by a member of the Technology Services Zoom team.
