Corporate Sponsorships debut at VCU Libraries
In FY20, VCU Libraries began pursuing corporate sponsorships for events. The annual Friends of VCU Libraries provided wide appeal to area businesses and VCU Libraries raised $7,500 in corporate sponsorship in our first year. A diverse range of businesses stepped up to sponsor the sale. They were: Black Swan Books; Alli Taylor, Keller Williams Realty & Neil Morrissette, C&F Mortgage; Perch At Pocoshock; Richmond City Dentistry; RVA Pediatric Dentistry; SHOCKOE | Mobile by Design; Snag Work.
Thanks to our sponsors, all shoppers received a Friends of VCU Libraries reusable tote bag in which to carry their purchases.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Friends Book Sale has been cancelled for fall, 2020 and all Friends programs are online. VCU Libraries will continue to grow the sponsorship program when we return to a more typical on-campus event structure.
