[Video] Blackboard & Bb Mobile Learn Are Your Map To Academic Success
Everybody needs a good map from time to time. Whether you are on vacation or trying to find your way to class on the first day of school (See VCU Mobile), a map can help you find your way. But we often need a map to help us navigate the academic landscape as well. The recently updated Blackboard system and newly deployed Bb Mobile Learn application for mobile devices can be your map to academic success.
We caught up with Sheila Chandler, Director for Learning Systems, to talk about Blackboard 9 and the fantastic new Bb Mobile Learn app. Blackboard 9 includes much more than just a new color scheme. New features abound for faculty, student and staff alike. Since we had Sheila cornered for a few minutes we also talked about the new Bb Mobile Learn application. Released late this summer, this mobile application allows you put Blackboard in the palm of your hand. Access to course information is always with you on the go. The application can be found in multiple versions for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch as well as on Blackberry and Android devices. No matter which platform you use, Blackboard 9 and Bb Mobile Learn is the map to you academic success.
