Help Desk Transforms Into VCU helpIT Center
VCU Technology Services is announcing that the VCU TS Help Desk is now the VCU helpIT Center. The VCU helpIT Center continues to offer these great services:
- Centralized, Comprehensive Computing Support
- Telephone Call Center
- Walk-in Service Counter
- chatIT IM Messaging Service
- 24-hour Online Ticket Requests
- Audio Visual Equipment Checkout
- Test Scanning
The helpIT Center now also includes the new fixIT Computer Repair program. This service was formerly part of the G2G Mobile Computer program. The fixIT service staff provide fast repair services for many computers right here on campus. The fixIT staff is certified to provide warranty repair for Apple, Dell, and Lenovo computers.
In addition to the name change and added computer repair service, the VCU helpIT Center has expanded our Cabell Library B-30 walk-in counter to allow our staff to serve more customers at the same time. One thing that has not changed is the ways to contact the VCU helpIT Center. Our number, email and online support contacts remain the same as before:
