Guidance for Changing or Cancelling Airline Tickets
Delta Air Lines has recently updated its “No-Show” policy. To retain the full value of your ticket- either for a refund or future travel credit- you must cancel or make changes to an existing ticket prior to original flight departure time.
Effective January 12, 2026, Delta will be implementing new technology that will automatically update flight status for no-shows. So, if CTP or Delta are not notified before original departure time:
- The ticket will be placed in a suspended status
- The value of the ticket will be forfeited with no option for a refund or future travel credit
- Any remaining flights in your itinerary, including connections or return legs, will be cancelled.
To ensure that you receive VCU’s discounted rates and other contract benefits, please book your travel through CTP’s online booking tool or by contacting CTP agent support by calling 888-742-2896 or emailing [email protected].
