The way you access the BoA Works system will change on September 30, 2026.

Bank of America is undergoing a platform transformation. All corporate card tools, including BoA Works, will soon be accessed exclusively from Bank of America’s Global Card Access (GCA) website.

What this means for you: You will first log into GCA, and then click through to Works without being prompted for additional login credentials. This new single sign-on process allows you to manage both GCA and Works functionality using just one user profile.

  • Is Works functionality changing?  No. Works functionality is not changing.  Only the way you access Works is changing.
  • What are the benefits of this Change?  You will no longer need separate user profiles for GCA and Works. If you already use GCA, you know it is handy for setting up purchase alerts, managing your card’s PIN, and viewing balances or recent activity. Now, everything will be in one place.

On Migration Day (September 30, 2026)

On September 30, 2026, you will receive a Welcome Email to your @vcu.edu email address from [email protected]. Depending on your current account status, please follow these steps:

  • If you do not already have a GCA user ID: The email will guide you through registering for GCA for the first time.
  • If you have an existing GCA user ID: The email will confirm you can use that existing GCA user profile to log into GCA.  Note: In some cases, existing GCA users will receive a new GCA user ID to use moving forward.
  • If you’ve forgotten your GCA password: Use the “Forgot Password” feature on the GCA login page.
  • If you have a Travel Card and a P-card:  You currently have two (2) separate Works IDs.  You will have the option to link the Works IDs together after completing your initial login for both accounts.

Troubleshooting & Next Steps

What if you don’t receive the Welcome Email?

  • Double check your spam folder and deleted items just in case.
  • Navigate to Global Card Access – Login page , and use the “Forgot User ID” feature with the email address associated with  your Works accounts.
  • Test your login: Please be sure to test your login within 3-5 days of receiving the Welcome Email to ensure everything is working as expected.
  • Bookmark your new login page: Update your bookmarks to the new Bank of America Global Card Access Portal.

Finding the Works Link:  Once you log in to Global Card Access, the link to navigate to Works is located at the bottom right of the GCA page under  the “Related Links”  section.

If you have any questions or run into issues during this migration, please reach out directly to the CorpCard team at [email protected] for assistance.
