More than just a donor wall
Each plaque tells a story of giving.
This is more than just a wall of names . . . Every plaque on the VCU Libraries donor wall has a story behind it, a reason for the gift. Some people gave so future generations of students will have appropriate facilities and materials for study, other donors wanted to ensure treasures in Special Collections and Archived are properly cared for and made accessible to researchers. Some individuals have been giving regularly for 20 years, others are newer to the VCU family. But what unites all of these names is a belief that a gift to VCU Libraries helps every student at VCU now and into the future.
The permanent donor wall at James Branch Cabell Library has been updated to reflect gifts during the Make It Real Campaign from 2012 to 2020. Thank you, donors.
