New Records Storage & Management Option Now Available
Procurement Services, in collaboration with VCU Records Management, is pleased to announce that Access Information Management is now available to all VCU departments for secure records storage, transportation, scanning, and destruction services.
Document Management
This agreement was established to give departments a more streamlined and responsive option for managing physical records off-site when digitizing and on-campus storage will not suffice. Many units have asked for clearer service coordination, more reliable communication, and better alignment with purchasing processes—this new option helps address those needs.
What Access Provides
Departments may use Access for:
- Secure off-site records storage
- Document pickup and delivery
- Shredding and destruction
- Scanning and conversion services
Why Departments May Want to Consider This Option
While departments may continue using their current provider, Access offers:
- Proactive PO monitoring and timely follow-up
- Clear escalation paths if issues arise
- Predictable pricing under the master agreement
