Updates from the Aerosol Research Group at VCU

Our groups will be attending the upcoming International Society of Aerosols in Medicine meeting in Santa Fe, NM.

We have two podium presentations.

Dr. Worth Longest will present a podium presentation entitled “Simulating Epithelial Absorption of Dissolving Steroid Particles in the Small Airways”.

Dr. Mandana Azimi will present a podium presentation entitled “The Use of a Physically Realistic Nasal Airway Model for the Assessment of In Vitro Transepithelial Transport of Nasally Administered Drugs”. Her co-authors are Ruba Darweesh, Michael Hindle, Dale R. Farkas, Laleh Golshahi, Masahiro Sakagami, and P. Worth Longest.
