Learning Systems Announcements

Put Some Tech in Your T&L

Hello from Learning Systems,

We hope this message finds you well.

Kaltura MediaSpace, their integration servers for Blackboard and Canvas, as well as the Kaltura Management Server have all been experiencing intermittent outages over the last week. Our team has been in contact with the vendor and they have stated that several changes are being made to keep up with demand. One such change involves moving additional infrastructure to Amazon Web Services. A recent statement from Kaltura about the status of this change:

We wanted to touch base with you again to let you know our cloud migration project is running on schedule and as planned. This means, beginning Saturday, August 29, 2020, Kaltura will be leveraging additional secure public cloud hosting infrastructure powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

We have been testing all our products and functionalities every step of the way to ensure a successful migration….

… As a reminder, this project is not expected to impact or interrupt the services you receive today from Kaltura and will be implemented strictly in accordance with Kaltura’s data security policies and industry best practices. — AVP Americas Education Team, Kaltura
