Study Finds Student Tablet Ownership Is Up
A Pearson Foundation study found that college student tablet ownership has tripled year-over-year. A quarter of the students surveyed indicated they owned a tablet. Our own survey data from this past fall, which will be posted up in the next couple weeks on the VCU TS Web site, finds that student ownership of tablets is still very weak at VCU. Still, the trend for mobile is steadily moving up and we would probably see that reflected in tablet ownership if our survey was administered again this spring.
