VCU TS Communications Campaigns Receive Recognition
VCU Technology Services (VCU TS) received two awards at the recent Association of Computing Machinery SIGUCCS fall conference in Norfolk, Virginia. VCU TS was recognized during the conference Communication Awards presentation. VCU TS was recognized in the following two categories:
- Award of Excellence in the Printed How-to Guides category for the Blackboard 9 “generation net” Faculty Guide
- Award of Excellence in the General Service Campaign Materials for the Anti-Phishing Campaign
Previously, at the 2009 conference, VCU TS won a Best in Class Award in the Printed Quick Reference Guides category for the 2009 VCU Technology Services Technology Guide.
VCU Technology Services also received a 2010 Expression Award from Visix, VCU’s digital signage vendor, in the Best Visual Communications Campaign category for the getIT Computer Purchase Program. Time Warner Cable and the University of Maryland, Stamp Student Union were also recognized in this category. VCU TS was also a 2009 Expression Award winner.
