Red accents enliven study space

Brash red accents enliven renewed first-floor study spaces at Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences. Geometric designs in the new carpet and some accent walls are lipstick red. Work continues during winter break to update interiors.

Construction Update for Dec. 19

The old service desk was removed over the weekend. We have a temporary desk set up by the main entrance and our other floors remain open. Removal of old furniture continues today, along with work on the new carpet and paint.

Cabell Library closed Jan. 15-19

Cabell Library will close Friday, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m. and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 a.m. This is a change from a previously announced MLK Day closure, which has been extended due to construction-related work on the granite floors.
