Have you heard about our event space?
There so much to be excited about in the new Cabell Library, scheduled for completion in January 2016. One exciting new feature is the auditorium space on the third floor. This large and comfortable space will be equipped with the best audio and visual equipment. The seating is flexible. The space can hold a maximum of 300 guests for a lecture-style presentation but can also be split into two separate smaller rooms if needed. A freight elevator and a catering kitchen serve the room, making this the perfect space for VCU Libraries and its many partners to host our many events.
The space also has an adjoining terrace to allow for pre- and post- event mingling with a spectacular view of the heart of the Monroe Park Campus.
