June 18-July5: Tile and carpeting installation on 1st and 3rd floors
Be prepared for some noise, workers active in patron spaces and changes in traffic patterns June 18 through July 5.
W. M. Jordan will be working on the floor on the third floor, replacing vinyl flooring with carpeting. This work will continue through July 2. The work on the first floor will begin at 2 a.m. June 29. After removing ceramic tile, workers will set in new porcelain title the night of July 3, after Cabell closes. The floor will be finished when the building reopens July 5 after the holiday.
W. M. Jordan will maintain access to the stairwell and at least one elevator at all times, but please be aware of the altered pathways on both floors to the elevators and the north stairwell.
