Noise on the 4th floor through September and October
Expect ongoing noise Monday-Friday, 4 a.m. to 8 a.m., on the 4th floor throughout September and October and perhaps later. New shelving is being installed for the expanded Special Collections and Archives department.
Work crews will be drilling into the 4th floor slab to install rails for the compact shelving.
Free earplugs are available at the Information Services Desk.
A portion of the 3rd floor is now designated as a silent study area.
